SOFTWARE CHALLENGES AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install the COMSOL software by inserting the DVD in the virtual DVD drive.
2. Select “_SolidSQUAD_ \ LMCOMSOL_Multiphysics_SSQ.lic” to install COMSOL Multiphysics
-or-
Select “_SolidSQUAD_ \ LMCOMSOL_Server_SSQ.lic” to install COMSOL Server
3. Choose Components and Installation Folder.
Uncheck the box “Check for Updates after Installation” at “Options”.
Enable automatic update check
4. Click “Create Admin Users” if COMSOL Server has been installed.

4.1 Run as administrator “COMSOL_Server_Workaround.bat” from “server_install_workaround”

5. Once the import has been completed, if COMSOL Server was installed, open
“http://localhost:2036” in a Web browser and log in with your Windows account name and password
